My First Blog!!

Today, I am writing my first blog..and quite excited about that. Though it seems quite easy to share your thoughts on your blog..but the real problem is how to get started.

What should be your first post???...

Everyone wants his first post to be interesting and I really had to scratch my head to get going..But even before reaching the posts, there lies a bigger challenge..and that is 'the name of your blog'...

Oh the name!! It's just too important...Whether you are starting a business...or writing a story...'The Name Matters'...

Who doesn't wants an attractive name!!..Infact its the name that catches the first eye...

I really had to dig deep to get a suitable name for my blog..When I created the blog, I was asked to give it some name and I was just totally blank...The first word that came to my mind was 'ENOGRATI'..actually that was the name of my first group on facebook...

Hey!! don't start looking for its meaning 'coz you won't find it anywhere..

The word is totally my own creation (thanks to google translator)..Its composed of two words 'eno' meaning 'one' and 'gratis' meaning freedom...so 'enograti' means 'the one who has freedom'...freedom of thought, of action, of expression, and of any n everything...Indeed the name depicted the purpose of my blog pretty well..( 'coz this blog is medium for me to share and express my thoughts..) but still I wasn't satisfied and wanted something new..

"The Burning Candle"

 A few days back, i was lying on my bunk searching fo' something to write about..when suddenly an image of a burning candle flashed in my mind...The candle was half burnt..the molten wax dripping down along its edges and getting accumulated near the base..a slight depression just under the burning wick...the golden flame with an orange tinge to it surrounded by a bluish-green lining....danced merrily atop the candle...And it was quite fascinating to unveil the messages that the candle gave.. 

Try observing a candle and it reveals alot!!! 

The burning candle can be treated as a symbol of enlightment...The light from the candle depicts hope...when all goes dark..its the candle that shows us the way...The candle gives us light but in the process it dies every moment....It sacrifices itself to pull us out of the darkness....the heat from the burning candle depicts the feeling of warmth...and the melting wax by heat conveys that anything can be achieved by warmth and love....Not only this it reveals much more..its just the matter of perception..

Ain't it interesting enough how a small candle could convey so much!!! Indeed, we must not ever underestimate anything or anyone....Even the young ones can sometimes teach us great lessons...

So, this is what inspired me and this is how my blog got the name "The Burning Candle"...

Now, finally, I am done with my name-search and its time to start with the posts...So, coming back to from where I started  i.e ' my first blog"....

Wow!!! I think i've already written my first blog...and looking at it..it doesn't appear that bad...
