"At the Heaven's Gate.."

Rusty mornings greet me with hope..
As warming sunshine unties the rope..
Now i'm setting out for a new day..
But again i am going the same way...

Everyday she is near me but yet so far..
She resides in my heart like a twinkling star..

Those childish eyes enjoying every game..
Her absence makes me sad n lame..

Behind her beautiful face lies the heart of gold..
Devoid of ill wills yet so bold..

I die to hear her melodious voice..
Just gazing at her is my only choice..

All day long i try hard to start some talk..
But at last, hanging my head, away i walk..

At her cutest of smiles my heart goes dizzy..
Its just her thoughts that keep me busy..

At every place, her face i see..
We are like two boats sailing in the same sea..

I won't cage her,
So i'll just set her free..
If she comes back she's mine..
Else she was never meant to be..

But now my hope has begun to fade away..
Time to leave, i can no longer stay..

She has changed me for the better, i perceive..
n she was never mine, i believe..

I won't get a chance to lie with my head in her lap..
Coz we are at the opposite ends of  a wide gap..

But yet for her happiness is all i pray..
May she smiles each n every single day..

To her i am a stranger she might know..
But still someday our paths will cross,
n that i surely know..

May be now its too late..
But i'll wait for her even at the heaven's gate..!!
